A sound effect of me hitting my bed with my hand, made to sound like a mat hitting the floor. Or it could be used as a thud sound effect. Used in my short film "wake up" (yet to be uploaded).
Recorded and processed at 24bit 48khz using the tascam dr-40 linear pcm recorder. Processing: gain-staging and soft high and low frequency filtering. No eq boost or cuts anywhere else. Also de-noised.

Me flicking my toe into the metal section of my desk to simulate either hard footsteps on metal or metal being slammed into. Audio technica atr 6550 shotgun mic was used to record this sound.
